The hotel is located on a forested peninsula overlooking Tokyo Bay.

The simple hotel exterior masks the elegance and comfort within.

The Tomiura Royal is a favorite location for Japanese weddings.

The hotel has several dining rooms. This is the location of the breakfast buffet.

The rooms are quite spacious compared to those in most Japanese hotels. Each room has an individual bathroom with a shower and Western-style toilet.

On the basement level there is a huge Japanese bath complex, segregated by gender. Many of our group members spent their late evenings decompressing here.

Tokyo Bay and the Beach below the hotel

Tokyo Bay is but a five-minute walk from the hotel, and offers a combination of sand and pebble beaches for exploring, beach combing and swimming.
