Sandy Lydon
teaching about dead people in the Evergreen Cemetery, Santa Cruz.
It must be at the end of a long day, because though he's waving
his arms like crazy, most of the students seem to be very very weary. |
He's
Still Doing It!
During 2010 the History Dude will continue to lead groups on local and regional adventures. Most of these adventures will be administered through Cabrillo College Extension and held on weekends. Whether they are daytrips or overnight getaways, they will provide you a chance to not only have some fun in the region, but also to learn a thing or two along the way.
Adults Only
The adventures are designed for adults, so unless otherwise designated, children 18 and under may not participate.

See happy people poking around in the innards
of our region’s history
MORE INFO |
These getaways are designed to help you:
Discover the region
If you are relatively new to the area, these experiences are a perfect way to get to know some of the unexpected and unexplored treasures as well as meet folks with similar interests.
Renew your vows with your home land –
Even those who are born here often become jaded, spending most of their time looking elsewhere for inspiration when everything you can imagine (and more!) is within arm’s reach.
Surprise off-the-brochure special adventures
The Cabrillo College Extension brochure is published three times each year, and we usually have a couple of getaways in each. However, we often offer events between publication dates that do not appear in the brochure. They will be posted in this website, so you should check back here from time to time to see if there’s something new being offered.
Anyone can register –
You don’t have to be a resident of Santa Cruz County to register for these adventures – the only restriction is that you be over 18 years of age and be able to travel to the point of beginning of each of the adventures.
If you wish to receive an early notification of new courses go to our contact page and get on our early-alert mailing distribution.
All Registrations are through Cabrillo College Extension – You may register on-line through the Extension website, or you may register by telephone at 831-479-6331.
